Biography
Saúl Cosentino Sexteto's biography
Since Fuera De Serie, his first LP released in 1983, composer and pianist Saúl Cosentino has released over ten albums alongside his ensemble, some of which were also released in Mexico and the United States. Those works boasted the participation of instrumentalists like Fernando Suárez Paz and Daniel Binelli and singers such as Hernán Salinas, Raúl Lavié, Julia Zenko, among many other celebrated artists. All of his albums reflect his extraordinary talent as a composer and a style that blends avant-garde with tradition. Within the song genre, he teamed up with top-notch lyricists like Hamlet Lima Quintana, Héctor Negro and Eladia Blázquez. To this team of collaborators we must add the painter Pérez Célis, who created several of his album covers. This time he debuts with a new ensemble, a sextet made up of Carlos Morbidoni (violin), Julián Hasse (bandoneón), Armando de la Vega (electric guitar), Roberto Santocono (electric bass), Enrique “Zurdo” Roizner (drums), himself on the piano and singer Carlos Rossi.
