Biography
Agrupación Sentir en Tango's biography
Agrupación Sentir en Tango is an ensemble of poets, musicians and singers with a common goal: to disseminate the new tango expressions. Their appearance in the festival will be hosted by poet Ernesto Pierro, an active promoter of the tango culture and co-founder of the organisations Autoconvocados por el Tango and Letrango. On this occasion, Martín Targa, Margarita Aybar and Natalia Balbazoni, members of Agrupación Sentir en Tango, will be singing and Guillermo Alio and María del Carmen Aguirre, dancing; they will be joined by poet Alberto Ortiz and the trios accompanying Targa and Balbazoni. The event will also feature recitations by Pierro himself, whose lyrics were granted awards on many occasions, including the first prize at Cosquín Festival for El Polaco, –it was the first time a tango won in that festival of Argentine folklore music– and the second prize at SADAIC’s competition for Borges, un Fervor de Buenos Aires.
