Biography
Leopoldo Federico. El inefable bandoneón del tango's biography
Bandoneonist Leopoldo Federico is the embodiment of the best tango tradition of the 1940s and its exquisite avant-garde projection: indeed, his name is linked to those of Di Sarli, Piazzolla and Salgán, in whose orchestras he played. Today he still leads his own orchestra, which with its five-decade existence it constitutes his most accomplished musical expression. In this book and throughout exhaustive interviews, Federico himself recounts his story, which is, somehow, the very story of the tango of the second half of the 21st century.
