TANGO IN SPANISH AND FRENCH
The French-Spanish film, fully Argentine in spirit, “Crepúsculo rojo” (Dans le rouge du couchant, as it is originally entitled in French) directed by Edgardo Cozarinsky, will be projected this Saturday at 1 pm at Harrods' micro cinema within the successful film projection segment of the Tango World Championship and Festival.
The film stars Marisa Paredes, Bruno Putzulu and Féodor Atkine. The argument is based on several stories connected through past people, exile as tragedy or choice, a trip back to the past and from town to town, having tango as main feature and the soundtrack as special delicacy. Spoken in Spanish and French, this film is, as it happens with all Cozarinsky’s movies, a paused, blue, and thought-to-detail film, where stories come up fluently, as with a flood.
