THE “STAGE TANGO” CATEGORY FINALS

The “Stage Tango” category finals of the Tango World Championship is to take place this Monday at 7 pm at the Luna Park Stadium (Corrientes y Bouchard). There be 20 couples competing for the category world championship with an estimated audience of six thousand people and a panel of expert judges. Performing at this event will be singers Raúl Lavié and Elena Roger along with José “Pepe” Colángelo, having Mora Godoy as choreography director.

The panel of judges will be formed by: Jorge Torres, Natalia Hills, Aurora Lubiz, Claudio Gonzalez, Gabriel Misse and Guillermina Quiroga. This will be the closing of this Tango World Championship and Festival, the tango event that has filled with tango this August in Buenos Aires. It was nothing but tango for two weeks at Harrods, theatres Avenida, San Martín and 25 de Mayo, cultural centres Recoleta and Konex, La Trastienda and Puro Tango. There were plenty of tango parties on all these stages with thousands of people participating.
